OF THE WOMEN'S VISION CIRCLE ON 3 JULY 2010! We just had our first ever global gathering of the Women's Vision Circle this weekend!
It was a totally joyous, moving and inspiring event, bringing together women from all around the world for a powerful sharing of their visions and their hearts. I felt so blessed and honoured to be facilitating such a profound gathering of so many incredible women. It was just delightful! |

WHAT WE DID ON THE CALL
I have to tell you, this was a really powerful two hours! The juice came more from who we were BEING than what we were doing. We were being open-hearted, honest, loving, supportive, visionary sisters.
But just so that you can get a feel for the sorts of things we will be doing on future calls, here's what we did on the call this time:

WHAT WE DID ON THE CALL
I have to tell you, this was a really powerful two hours! The juice came more from who we were BEING than what we were doing. We were being open-hearted, honest, loving, supportive, visionary sisters.
But just so that you can get a feel for the sorts of things we will be doing on future calls, here's what we did on the call this time:
- We started with an introduction from Tahnee, sharing the background to the Women's Vision Circle, and setting out some logistics for the call
- Then we set a group intention for the call, co-created by the entire group
- We did a powerful guided meditation, to drop us deeply into our hearts and help us each get clear on a vision to share with the group
- We did a long process in small groups of 3 or 4 people, where each person shared from their heart for five minutes whatever vision was present for them in the moment after the meditation, while the other women in the group practiced listening deeply. Then the other women gave the speaker feedback on (i) what they heard and (ii) what they felt, while they were listening.
- We then de-briefed as a large group after that powerful process
- Then we wove a VISION TAPESTRY - every single woman on the call shared their vision in one or two sentences, one after the other, painting a powerful portrait of what we are creating as a group on this planet. It was very moving and utterly inspiring!
- We then VOTED for how often to meet up as a group... and the majority of women wanted a monthly Tele-Gathering
- Tahnee shared some closing words, re-capping on what had been shared, and giving thanks to all the participants and her helpers.
- We finished by going round the circle and everybody shared ONE WORD to reflect how they were feeling after the call.
THE RECORDING
I promised the women on the call that I wouldn't release the recording of the visioning processes themselves or any of the personal comments from any of the participants, so that they could speak freely in a safe sacred space.
But I would love to share with you some other highlights from the call, which I think you'll find really inspiring and uplifting.
